Arthur Gaveau, PhD
Chief Executive Officer
Arthur dedicated his research to understand biomass and microbiology in bioprocess engineering. His PhD has focused on the qualification of mechanical properties of biological particles on productivity and efficiency parameters of water filtration process. To explore life science properties, Arthur has experience with numerous observation techniques, including AFM, SEM, TEM, confocal microcopy, DLS and more. Since the end of his postdoctoral research in Italy where AFM optimization has been the key subject of his work in order to explore physical communication between cells and nanotubes, Arthur has assembled a rare ecosystem where Life Sciences can be explored without any limits :
A5 Science was built to make the AFM technology available to every biological or medical projects in order to provide a new range of cutting edge analysis.
Véronique LACHAIZE, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer
Véronique is PhD holder in Biology, Chemistry and Health. She studied the Biophysical properties of cardiomyocytes in physio / physiopathological conditions by AFM within an interdisciplinary team built between the Laboratory of Analysis and Architecture of Systems and the Institute of Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases of Toulouse, France. Her expertise was consolidated after she was a pilar scientist of the two years program conducted by the transatlantic project between the United States (University of Texas, University of Colorado, New York School of Medicine) and Europe (University College of London, University of Trieste, Hubrecht Institute Utrecht) led by the Leducq foundation on molecular genetics, pathogenesis and protein replacement therapy in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy. She is now ready to share her expertise on AFM by founding A5 Science in 2021.
